Nuremberg, Prague & Berlin

Our tour to Nuremberg,  Prague and Berlin covers the entire period from 1933 to 1945, including the years of power, the conduct of the war and the Holocaust.

In addition to all the visits included in the Nuremberg and Berlin tour (click for details), your time in the Czech Republic might include a guided walking tour of the pre-War Jewish quarter of Prague to gain some insight into the life and history of a thriving community.  On Hitler's personal instructions, items were brought here from all across the Reich to become a museum for a people who no longer existed.

On leaving Prague for Berlin, you will first visit the memorial and museum at Lidice, whose male citizens were murdered and whose women and children were taken to concentration camps in reprisal for the assassination of Reichsprotektor Heydrich.

Then to Theresienstadt (Terezín), to visit the Small Fortress which was used as a prison by the Prague Gestapo and the Ghetto Museum.  Theresienstadt was a military camp which was turned into a ghetto which could be shown off to the Red Cross, but was really a holding camp before transportation to the east
