City of Ypres-Tijl Capoen

Longer visits

It would be quite possible to spend weeks exploring the sites around Ypres, Arras and Albert, but of course, time and money are the great inhibitors.

We can guarantee to use every half-day you spend in the area to increase understanding of the conduct of the Great War.

In addition to the visits mentioned in our one- and two-day tours, you might visit the Wellington Quarry in Arras, the Canadian Memorial trenches and tunnel at Vimy Ridge, or spend a day reliving the journey of an Australian platoon marching to Tyne Cot on 4th October 1917.

Three extra free places offered on all Great War tours from Summer 2014 to Christmas 2018.   During the centenary commemorations, Culture Trails will give you three extra free places - you may use these as you will, either to reduce the price per student or to include worthy students who could not otherwise travel.
