Evening meal in the Hofbräuhaus, one of the early meeting places of the Nazi Party.

 

Prague

 

Guided tour of the pre-War Jewish quarter, Josefov, including two synagogues and the cemetery. 

 

Visit to Terezin (Theresienstadt), a town taken over by the occupying Nazi forces and used as a concentration camp for Jewish prisoners before their eventual transportation to the east.

 

Guided visit of the Small Fortress at Terezin (Theresienstadt), used as a prison by the Gestapo.  (The Small Fortress also contains the cell in which Gavril Princip was imprisoned after he killed Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo).

 

Visit to the memorial site and museum at Lidice, whose men were shot and women and children taken to concentration camps in reprisal for the assassination of Heydrich.  The village was razed to the ground.
